Network Events, Inc. (NEI) and WFAA-TV are partnering to produce and promote The Dallas Health & Fitness Expo, to be held August 8 and 9, 2009, at the Dallas Convention Center. NEI, the premier producer of consumer Wellness Expos in top markets across the country, has produced the largest and best-attended Health & Fitness Expo in Dallas for the last 8 years. In order to ensure that the aisles are packed with attendees, WFAA-TV, the #1-rated TV station in the market, will run an aggressive Expo promotion campaign to drive over 30,000 upscale, health-minded viewers to the largest Wellness Expo in the Southwest.

From June through August, “Good Morning Texas” will produce a series of 30 minute shows focusing on health issues and breakthrough medicines and procedures, and featuring medical experts represented on the Expo floor. This award winning show is the only daily, locally produced television program in the Dallas market that combines news, entertainment and talk formats. The program has led its time period nearly every quarter since its debut in 1994 and has a proven track record of attracting quality and loyal viewers.
